WHAT WE DO

Collaborative Delivery

DBK streamlines the traditional building process by employing a collaborative project delivery approach, which includes the following collaborative actions:

BUILDING A HIGH PERFORMING TEAM

We conduct a work session to identify desired outcomes and formulate solutions to eliminate obstacles that could impede progress. This becomes the basis for developing a master schedule that provides a high level road map to project completion and encompasses all elements of the project and involves all stakeholders. The project team and key stakeholders will review project goals, milestones, roles and responsibilities, potential roadblocks, and formulate strategies to avoid and mitigate potential issues. Through this process, we will cultivate team cohesion, establish rules of engagement, and devise a communication plan.

GRAPHIC MASTER SCHEDULE

A person in a hard hat and safety vest climbs stairs on a large concrete industrial tank in Curtis Bay, implementing stormwater reclaim upgrades under a clear blue sky.
The issues and opportunities identified will guide the creation of a Graphic Master Schedule – a visual tool for communicating the delivery process with stakeholders. It will identify and highlight stakeholder interaction, process requirements, key start/ finish milestone dates, deliverables, long lead items, and decision-making deadlines. This collaborative process ensures that the entire project team identifies all relevant issues from day one, allowing us to prioritize scheduling effectively. Additionally, it lays the groundwork for our baseline P6 schedule.
