This project consisted of the complete site development of 26 aces on raw land, including wetland mitigation areas in St. Johns County, FL at the northeast corner of I-95 & County Road 210. In addition to the complete site development, DBK constructed, via change order to the original contract, the first two retail buildings (1&2) in this planned development.
The buildings were an integral color and waterproof stucco system over structural CMU blocks with a primary roof system constructed from metal joist, decking, insulation with a TPO membrane. The decorative mansards were constructed from pre-engineered wooden trussing that received decking, waterproofing and an architectural concrete roof tile. This project included an expansive hardscape and landscape package. All this work was completed via open book pricing via a CM delivery method.
