This project involved the renovation and buildout of an 11,120-square-foot Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC) within FCCI’s existing occupied facility. The scope included full interior demolition and reconstruction to deliver new cardiac surgical suites, recovery areas, and support spaces. Work included installation of new MEP systems, medical gas systems, lead-lined drywall partitions, structural support for imaging equipment, a hospital-grade, integrated O.R. plenum ceiling system, and integration of a standby generator with dedicated utilities. As an AHCA-regulated project, the team maintained strict compliance, with infection control measures, and carefully coordinated with FCCI’s staff to allow performance of the work within the active healthcare environment.
