Dana B. Kenyon Company has invited your company to submit a Bid for Construction of a new UniFirst Corporation facility located at the address above. The following Instructions identify the Danas B. Kenyon’s intention for the preparation and submission of your Bid for Construction: 

Bids are to be submitted to Dana B. Kenyon per the bid instructions listed in items 1 through 10 below by Thursday March 29th, 2018 at 4:00PM EDT. Refer to item 3 below for more information.

PROJECT DESCRIPTION 

 The new UniFirst facility will consist of a 56,167sf two story building with associated sitework.  

Scopes of work needed to complete the projects will consist of the following:  

Surveying & Staking, earthwork, utilities, asphalt paving, curbs, landscaping, decorative metal fencing & gates, concrete, tilt-wall concrete, structural steel, miscellaneous steel, miscellaneous carpentry, millwork, TPO  roofing, fireproofing,  waterproofing & caulking, doors & hardware, storefront, metal studs & drywall, acoustical, tiling, carpet, resilient flooring, painting, specialties, elevator, fire protection, plumbing, HVAC and electrical.  See project documents for a complete scope of work.

  • Submission of Owner required bid breakdown will be part of the bid submission.  
  • Bids to be submitted on the Dana B. Kenyon Company provided Subcontractor/Supplier bid form.

A proposal on company letterhead shall also   accompany your bid.

  • Proof of ability to provide bonding for any subcontract in excess of $100,000.00 is required.  A letter from your Surety Company will satisfy this requirement.

PROJECT NAME:    Flagler - Emergency Electrical Plant Addition (Final)
LOCATION:              St. Augustine, FL

Your company is invited to provide a proposal for the Emergency Electrical Plant Addition located at Flagler Hospital in St. Augustine, Florida. 

PROJECT DESCRIPTION

The project will consist of the new construction for the addition of a 2600sf second story addition, to an existing single story warehouse in order to house three new generators along with all associated utilities, including fuel oil piping and MEP systems required for a complete project.  Demolition services will be required to support addition (existing concrete floor slab to accommodate installation of new footings) and removal of existing fuel tanks and obsolete components and will require the following scopes of work: 

Earthwork, utilities, curbs, fencing, concrete, masonry, structural steel, steel joist, metal roof decking, miscellaneous steel, waterproofing & caulking, wall insulation, TPO roofing system over light weight insulating concrete deck, doors & hardware, overhead door, glazing, painting, stucco, louvers, , , fire protection, plumbing, HVAC, electrical.  See project documents for a complete scope of work.
